CONDITIONS - TERMS OF USE
Cancellation Policy
•You recover 100% of the prepayment canceling within 24 hours after booking . After the 24 hours you recover 50% of the prepayment when remaining 20 days to arrival. Canceling within 20 days to arrival the prepayment is not recoverable. To complete the cancellation a written notice needs to be sent by emal to info@rental-madrid.com.
Booking Fee
•There are NO booking fees. There is an advance payment (10-25%) of the total cost in order to complete you booking. The outstanding sum is paid upon arrival in cash (most hostels and hotels accept credit card).
Prepayment
•We request a prepayment of 10-25% (the sum depends on each accommodation). This is paid by credit card or Paypal online in the end of the booking process (in cases of difficulty also bank transfer is accepted bank account you can find in the same payment page). The remaining amount is paid upon arrival in cash (hostels and hotels normally accept credit cards).
•For 3 day short term bookings we may require the total payment at the time of the reservation. This rule applies to reservations during special times of the year like Christmas, Easter, etc.
•Please be aware that the reservation will not be fully confirmed until Rental Madrid has received the down payment required and not until you have received a written acceptance via e-mail from Rental Madrid.
Deposit
• Most apartments (not hostels or hotels) ask for a deposit between € 50 and € 400 depending on the type of apartment. This deposit will be collected upon arrival and will be returned upon departure, once the landlord has checked if the premises are in the same condition as it was when the customer checked in the apartment. Please check in our web site this exact condition.
Overbooking
•If an accommodation is not able to offer the apartment reserved, the responsible of the the accommodation should offer an alternative of similar characteristics depending on the availability at the moment.
•If no agreement is reached, both parties have the right to cancel the agreement. In this case Rental Madrid will reimburse all the payments made (except for the payments equivalent to the time already enjoyed, if that is the case). Rental Madrid will not be held responsible of any further customer claims or demands.
Towels and Linen
•There must be clean towels and bed linen for all those members included in the booking.
Check In
•Check in hour is from 3:00 p.m. This depends on each accommodation. To do an earlier check in please contact the accommodation in advance. Please consider that arrivals after 9:00 p.m. represent and additional cost of € 25. In the event the arrival happens after 12:00 a.m. (that is, midnight) the supplement is of € 40. If there are other rates this should be reflected in "Description" on the web site.
Check Out
Unless the accommodation and the customer has agreed otherwise in writing, the check out must take place before 12:00 p.m. (that is, midday). Please, ask for the possibility a later check out before your arrival by email to the responsible of the accommodation.
Cleaning - cleaning fee
•The apartment is cleaned before the arrival of each customer. The check out date, the customer must leave the apartment reasonably clean. Some apartments has an extra cleaning fee. This fee is clearly reflected together with the rental cost when booking the apartment.
The identification and number of members
•The customer must inform Rental Madrid the amount of people to stay in the apartment. If this number has not been agreed with Rental Madrid, only the number of people indicated in the booking will have the right to stay in the apartment. The number of people authorized to enjoy the apartment cannot be higher than the number described and expected for each apartment, except in the case of children younger than 2 years of age. Pets require of a special authorization. Not meeting the terms mentioned before will give Rental Madrid the right to request the customer to leave the apartment with no right to economic compensation.
Behavior
•The person who booked the accommodation is responsible of the behavior of all those persons staying in the apartment. If anyone does not behave in a responsible and appropriate way, Rental Madrid holds the right to request the customer and those accompanying him or her to leave immediately, with no right to economic compensation. Please consider that these Terms of Use refer specifically to any inconvenience caused by loud music or any other excessive noise. Partying is POSITEVILEY FORBIDDEN. Those who will benefit from an apartment through Rental Madrid must be aware that in the event of a neighbor complaint about loud music or excessive noise in the apartment or any other place of the building or its surrounding, or in the case a neighbor has called the police, the responsible of the accommodation will evacuate the apartment immediately independently if it is day or night. In this event the customer will have no right to request the return of the deposit or the prepayment of the apartment. Consider that by renting a property through Rental Madrid the person who booked the apartment agrees with these Terms of Use, and is expected to abide by them at all times. It will be requested upon arrival that the customer signs these terms.
The resting hours are considered to be between 10:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m.
•We appreciate your cooperation and we hope you understand that these norms are necessary since our apartments are located in residential buildings. Therefore there will be no interference with the rest of the neighbors.
Responsibility
•Neither Rental Madrid nor the landlord will be held responsible of any direct or indirect damage caused by the use of the apartment with no limitation: damage, loss of property caused by fire, robbery or any form of crime. In the event of not fulfilling any obligation mentioned above, the responsible of the accommodation under its own criteria holds the right to request the customer to leave and the customer will not able to request any type of economic compensation.
Our Website
•Rental Madrid holds the right to update any of the Terms of Use at any time needed by the nature of the business.
The users are responsible to ensure awareness of the valid and updated terms and conditions included in this site are. The mere use of the services included in this site implies the agreement and acceptance of these Terms of Use and any change made before your stay in the apartment hired.
House rules – please read carefully.
•We expect you follow these house rules. The apartment will not be used as a party house, but as a place to sleep, eat, rest, etc. Please read carefully these rules to avoid any trouble. Our main goal is for the customer to enjoy his or her staying in Madrid.
1. Unless stated otherwise, it is permitted to smoke in the apartments. However it is asked to smoke by the window or in the balcony and to refrain from throwing cigarette butts outside.
2. Please show respect to the neighbors –people work and have to get up early in the morning every day – therefore avoid making noise in the building or in the apartment. Parties are not allowed.
3. Please turn off the Air Conditioning and switch off the lights when you leave the apartment. We try to keep our prices low by, among other things, saving energy.
